err i got 32 points and only am eligible for 3 courses landscape architecture,interior design and architecture,all in singapore poly..i plan to appeal for RP with my outside certs,i have coaching certs and i coach school teams before so i hope it will help but if really can't then i will go ite,i dun wanna force myself to take a course i DO NOT LIKE! i'll go simei,its damn far but far is better than doing something i do not have interest in.i play to do higher nitec in business studies(SPORTS),they have that in ITE Simei and i've checked out about the course,its almost like RP's sports course..i read the web,this is what it says about the ITE"ITE College East also conducts a Special Admissions Exercise (SAE) for those who posses a strong sports background and healthy lifestyle mindset to appy for V10 [Higher Nitec in Business Studies (Sports Management)]"and after graduating from this course (Higher Nitec in Sports) i muz get an average GPA of 3.5 or above.the max is 4 so 3.5 is quite high but i heard from friends its quite easy. BUT TODAY i went to appeal for RP and i could sign up for the course as JPSAE which means joint program special admission! which means im above DAE which also means i can register for that course!the staff told me like with my points of 32..usually cannot get in cuz last year cut off was 18,this year most prob highest is 26 but i can try register and most prob cannot..then when i try can! hello frisk its me again. just felt i have to tell you about this topic i happened to come across.

FORGIVENESS

many times we meet people who has did something which displeases us or causes great inconvenience to us. but are all these greater than what our God forgave us for?
yes its easier said than done and i find myself guilty frequently for not doing so but let us try to exercise this trait in our daily lives as we go about doing our business. it really helps trust me. after all, forgive, and be forgiven. i know this sounds vague, maybe i'll do word on it someday or something. lastly let me leave u guys some verses about this topic and may God bless your week ahead.

Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3 : 13

hello folks just bathed after frisbee. preparing to go for dinner now, as i was waiting for time to pass, God gave me this psalm to share with you guys perhaps for the week.

hello from your crippled cell leader..first of all..thank you all for the super scrapbook thing with some of the most hilarious nonsense ive ever seen seriously man it was really encouraging to read it before i went for my op and after that when i was bored and drowsy in the hospital with some old man chanting incessantly at the bed beside mine haha..and thanks for visiting me at home and bringing er..entertainment to me and even more so for my brother hahaha..it really meant alot to see all of you guys man..trust me when ur leg is all swollen and practically useless you need all the encouragement you can get..so thanks :)

anyway! just a little summary about cell on fri..remember our cell vision for the year thats based on this memory verse: MATT 7:24-27 for those who weren't at cell on fri, we're gonna be aiming to

1) be wise men and build our houses upon the rock
i.e. build a firm foundation upon God's Word, such that his light will shine forth naturally from us at all times, through our speech, actions etc. The practical ways of achieving this, which coincidentally coincides with the what the church is doing now, is to read our bibles daily. how much you wanna read is up to you..but stick with the bare minimum of one chapter a day like what the youth's gonna be doing (but really, you and i know thats really measly haha)

2) to help each other build our houses
to put it simply, accountability and mutual encouragement with regards to the first point. to help build each other up spirtually, to help one another watch our words and actions, to keep each other in constant prayer, cos if we can't even do that within our cell, what about when we're around our pre-believer friends? as iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another.

yup, so thats just a summary of our cell vision..for now..the youth will be starting a series called "back to basics" i think, which kinda parallels to what we're trying to do: get our christian basics back on track, so thats good! so keep praying for the cell, and ask god what he wants of you in cell or church, whether to serve as an intern, leader, whatsoever. thats all for now..keep the cell and the youth in prayer yea..and we'll see great things happen :)

hmm todays message was kinda... interesting. about like the three points thingy. like conditions of the land, conduct and i forgot the last one. but it was good la, about the cannan and CANNOT thingy. like sometimes we try to shy away from responsibility and all that and go like "ai ya cannot la, very busy, got commitments, pai seh la, very shy" its like, excuses ah. and like being enemies with the world and all that. it kinda shows us like how set apart we are in God ah, and theres this really big family we can fall back to and know that theres someone thats gonna be with us all the days of our lives and even more.

i duno about the rest of the other stuff la but the things that kinda spoke to me was like when yer going into the promised land like u dont have to worry about family and all that. something around those lines la. then it kinda started something. cause like before i was preparing for church i was bathing la, then God kinda asked me "so are u going to yer parents church today?" then i thought and went "do u think i should?" then God went like "its up to you." then i scrubbed my hair then i said "i think i will go cpbc today." then God said like "good. thats your place." then like for me i guess God kinda wanted me to know like cpbc is like MY PROMISED LAND AH! like where God wants me to be and just to build his kingdom and being like a "interprising hub" that attracts people and work from there. its like, God just showed me like how even if me and my family, we may attend different churches and stuff, it all eventually adds up to God in the end so yea, it may be good too. like building more territory or something.

then there was this part about like how when God gives us the promised land and stuff then like sometimes we end up becoming the king instead of God. and then we end up doing things with like our own strength! i guess sometimes pride plays a factor in such things i guess. or when we look at the circumstances then we become too trying and we forget that God should be in place. i guess sometimes like in our lives, we become really trying and end up making our own decisions and stuff and God becomes like a servant! which shouldnt be so....! its like what that guy said that, it made me think like in everything that we do, we should always let God be in control of it, like in church, we should commit things to God. and the best kinda way to commit things to him is prayer and to just leave things to him and learn how to heck like your own ways and realise that Gods the king! remember the part about him talking about moses and the people in the wilderness and how God was the one that brought them out of egypt? "REMEMBER THE LORD THY GOD!" its like we should always have God in our minds and just remembering him and like how in every single thing he has blessed us and eventually we will start noticing Gods power and just relying on him for every single thing and being dependant on him and not on ourselves! and also that God is for us and not against us and no weapon formed against us shall prosper!

then like after that the pastor guy was talking about doing miracles, healing the sick and people will go like WOW! then i thought to myself "i want to do great things like that too" and i kinda told that to God too. for me, lately i have been thinking about like doing great stuff like that. but sometimes i just feel as though i get stuck in that wilderness, like im that joshua generation kinda thingy. like everytime i see something cool, some success happening and like Gods doing something in my life, its like i conquered something, but eventually i go back to the wilderness again and yea, that cycle keeps happening ah. maybe sometimes i feel inadequate about doing great things, and all that. sometimes i dont know how to go about doing things like that, like i get discouraged easily and sometimes i becoming trying. but i duno ah, like i have this damn strong kinda conviction that i wanna do great stuff, but i duno how, but i just feel it! and like i just wanna bring Gods kingdom to like everywhere i go ah. so today made me think abit la.

hmm i guess thats everything.. oh ya. pray for me so that ill have more discipline to have the habit of sleeping and rising at an early hour from now on and also to really absorb what im studying. its like my stamina for studying is damn lousy HAHA. its like i can study la, but when im tired, my brain dies and i hate looking at words. its like the determination is there but, my body cant tahan or something. wa jia lat i got like this time constrain ah, only left 3 weeks to study. its kinda stressful la, but yet im glad it makes me study HAHA. its like something to TRAIN me.

i dun usually panic during exams but now im like very different..i feel different bout this period of time in my life,i feel damn scared..u know i feel so scared now that i feel my heart trembling and that my tears are gonna come out..i have this very strong fear..it affects me terribly much and i feel like crying..its the prelims time but i realized that i might not make it...i wanna trust in the Lord that i will make it but what am i gonna do?i feel very scared..i feel very weak against the forces of evil..>.< im afraid i'll not do well enuff to go to the course i want..i want God's will to be done..but i feel very scared..my faith is so low that i feel that im definitely gonna fail..i dun even panic during exams and now i am panicking..not only that,im stressing but yet i can't study..when i study,i feel scared and i can't concentrate..i feel the devil is doing this..in the name of JESUS I COMMAND THE DEVIL TO STOP DISTURBING ME!IN JESUS MOST MIGHT NAME AMEN!...*sigh* o levels stress sucks...why do we need to do o levels >.< why can't we juz do semester exams..zzz..pray for my guys..i need lots of prayers..>.<

Ok, Dave Elliot has given us permission to perform our "modest" proposal (you know,the weight guessing one...)so what happen is that NEXT SUNDAy, we're gonna have to pull it off.

hey guys, i need u all to pray for me! like last night right, i had this damn scary nightmare and yea i could tell it was a damn bad spiritual attack ah, it felt super real and it was scary. like after that i woke up right, i had like a super bad head ache then i felt as though there was like this kinda drift or something in my room ah, and like it felt really bad then yea like God told me to quickly turn on the light and like dont let the darkness get to me or something and like read the bible. then he made me read pslams and all that and just to proclaim these promises. then after that i couldnt sleep at all with that crazy headache then i played computer then i saw hawn online and talked to him HAHA. then like i went back to sleep at like 4 or 5am i think. then i woke up again in the morning and i felt like vomitting ah. damn weird. so yea pray for me! oh and also pray for zach for his foot rot, it sounds really bad ah. got like damn bad blisters and skin peeling off. then the difference between both legs are damn different HAHA. so yea we need lots of prayer so yup guys, u all gonna have some stuff in yer prayer list!

Thanks to bloody dave and his bloody tagging, i have to write this bloody article or he'll bloody keep hounding me. bloody hell! wait till i shove some bloody **** up his bloody ****, the bloody ****. Anyways, here it is:

Presenting:

8 qualities of the ideal girl (for me in my case, why the hell would I...nevermind)

1. At least decent looking. All those people say "But its what inside that counts!". Yeah right. For me, I might have to spend about more than half my life (hopefully) with her, and if i have to wake up every morning looking at some hag, I think I'll probably die.
PLUS POINTS: If she's KAWAIIIIII!!!!

2. Humorous. Nobody likes a girl who pouts every freakin' hour (ok, some people do, but they're like goth/emo fetishist and stuff, which I'm not). She dosen't necessarily have to laugh at my jokes (which i understand is quite a task to accomplish) but she has to at least laugh quite a bit.
PLUS POINTS: If she can actually laugh at my jokes.

3. Honesty. Don't you think honest people are hot? C'mon, you know they are...
PLUS POINTS: Er, being a smart, honest person. There are cases where there can be WAY too much information.

4. Integrity. Steal my money and you're dead, bitch! Maybe not that extreme, but you get the idea.
PLUS POINTS: If you help keep mine intact as well. Kinda ironic, eh?

5. Humble. There was once this uber proud bit... er GIRL in my primary school, and she really pissed me off. Needless to say, I have been mentally scarred since. Keep note that calling yourself dumb isn't being humble, its just called self abuse. Remember kids, low self esteem doesn't equal humility.
PLUS POINTS: Maintains that careful balance between being a complete doormat and being stubborn. Oh, and she needs to tell me off about my arrogance also when the situation calls for it.

6. Loving. Duh
PLUS POINTS: DUH

7. Neat. There must be a balance, right? I mean, who is gonna tell me to clean the house? If no one does, the house will be hell...

2. um she's got to be really family oriented, not only for our own but for all of our extended family as well, to be able to respect elders and be nice and polite to them.

Hey guys,

we need loads and loads of prayer for the cell.

we've all been spiritually attacked in different ways some sort or the other recently and we really shld rally together to pray consistently so that the devil will go away!

remember, the devil may try and he might use all these circumstances to make us feel like we're down and out, but he cant hurt and harm us if we dont let him and hold on to the truth and the promises of God's word.

so to help you guys pray more specifically i'll be putting up a list here of who and what to pray about

mike - exhausting army life, nightmares and disturbances during the little rest that he has, his cough and health

zach - being discouraged and for him to lead a purpose filled life

dave - his health, gastric and other parts of his body,

shawn - inability to fall asleep, getting not enough rest.

sam - sleeping too late and not getting enough rest, for his addictions like to his laptop and stuff.

jon - for his life in school and at home.

(any others?)

so yeap yeap, please spend some time with God everyday to pray for each one of us and the cell in general, like how do we continue moving together as a cell and what are God's purposes for us?

3) how it all adds up to glorify Him

I was asking God like, how could our cell welcome new people and all that, like it seems we havent been able to do that really well, like for example during planet shakers concert, we all brought friends, but we were all too shy and uncomfy in introducing ourselves and stuck to each other instead. And God told me that we were really blessed to be able to have a special bond amongst us. that it was something great! and even though it can result in us prefering to stick to each other cos it's what we're more familiar with, it would be super cool if we all warmed up to someone new as a cell, like make them feel welcome when they mixed around with aus, then in some ways, they would feel a sense of belonging already!

so yea i wonder what you guys think bout that, maybe we could like work towards that and stuff, and go ask God to tell you how else He wants the cell to move!! maybe we'll have like new revelations and stuff. and dont forget to pray! =)

I haven't asked Dave Elliot about the idea, so sit tight. I also might need an idea for prizes since no one likes the ideas of photos, which I have no idea why since the prizes are supposed to be pretty stupid anyways.

But that's not the point. Today's point is that after I finish my manga compeitition, I would like to try rendering you guys in some kickass way (e.g. with weapons and stuff). In case you didn't know, that's why dave has been going on about some "big-assed sword".

OUR FRISK BLOG IS DYING! COME ON GUYS MAKE IT MORE LIVELY! oh yea. i want you guys to think about like wat a cell is supposed to be, mainly in a few points, its purpose for the church, and its purpose for Gods kingdom and how it all adds up to glorify him. and also like think about discipleship and mentoring and being a servant for others. and like reaching out to others and all that too. evangelising and all that kinda stuff too. and kinda like how u think u can apply stuff like that into yer life right now and stuff. especially since most of us are having holidays somewhat HAHA. yea and like about what makes a cell grow and stuff too. all of a sudden i feel as though like, we should know like what we are doing all these kinda things for and all that. its like, sometimes we just lose focus of what we just wanna do and all that, and end up struggling. cause like the moment we lose sight of what we are gonna do, we kinda just start dragging things and like for everything that we do as a cell, its for God! so yea, what actually do we wanna give God and what does God really desire in us especially now for our cell and stuff. so yea i just want you guys to just think about like the cell and all that and just pray for the cell la! i realise sometimes we just dont pray for our cell enough and all that but yea, it should be a daily routine thingy and its something which every single one of us HAVE to do! praying for the cell is not really... restricted to it being to people with authority and stuff, so yea, i feel like God wants all of you guys to just spend some time asking his heart about the cell and all that and how we should really move and stuff. it may sound bothersome and all that but yea im gonna pester u guys in msn about this HAHA so please visit the cell blog more often please.

Samuel's Slightly off-kilter proposal.

Hey guys. I'd like to propose we do a small mini-game before youth worship one of these days.

We're gonna do this gameshow thing called "The Amount is Right". Basically, for 1 kg of our weight, Jesus would have to pay 1 pint of his blood to redeem us (un-biblical, yes I know, but I think he'd give us some creative freedom).

So what happens is that we invite 5 random people from the youth down to the front. We then show 1 of the frisk guys on the screen and then they'll have to guess our weight in pints. The winner gets a photo of that particular picture. We may also have a "special" picture...

Yes I know it's slightly nuts, yes I know some of you guys will hate me for this, but I believe it'll be as funny as hell (pun not really intended) and it'll serve as propagan...err PROMOTION for our cell.

Of course, since i'm the crazy kook that came up with this idea, I'll support costs for the printing.

The only problem is proposing this to either Bel or David Elliot. I'm quite sure they'll have a few ideas of their own....

okk.. how many of u felt God really speaks to you after today sermon? I hope it does cause it works for me.. its been quite long since i ever felt so touched by such stories.. and even better.. this guy called Grant ( i think ), started praying for me about my financial problems... what happened after that was a total shock to me.. i was like.. chatting with him about whats happening in my life.. and when hes about to go, he just took out his wallet.. and gave me 50 bucks. i was like.. omg. This is like the first time such thing happen to me la.. and i felt God wants me to do stuff like giving the 50 bucks to people who needs it.. and i feel like giving it to the church fund.. since i dont know who need the money.. hahahah so in the mean time... i will just keep it.. wah this is such a damn good feeling la.. i really pray that theres someone out there in need of the money.. so i can give it to the person.. although its like 50 bucks.. its still a "God-sent thing"(yougetwhatimean). ok bye bye.
